ACTION PLAN FOR THE TEENS / YOUTH / AND CHILDREN PLANNING GROUP

Objective: Encourage youth engagement within the community to increase quality of life young people and our community as a whole.

Program, Project or Activity: After School and Summer Camp Programs Promoting Sustainability Enriching the Lives of Teens and Youth as Well as Facilitate Life-Long Learning in Specific Reference to Health Communities.
Time Frame: Kick-off event and ongoing.
Cost Approximation: Moderate.
Responsibility: Kim and Melissa.

Needs: Staff and equipment.

Program, Project or Activity: Host Focus Groups Establishing Positive Behavior/Mannerisms, Making Safe Choices Encouraging Teens/Youth and Children to Discuss/Research and Implement Activities that Provide Assistance to the Community Therefore Acting as Responsible and Productive Citizens of Society.
Time Frame: Short term and ongoing.
Cost Approximation: Little: $0-$200.
Responsibility: Kim and Melissa.
Other: Possibly bring speakers and professionals in.
Needs: Participation from School to hold these meetings.

Program, Project or Activity: Create Volunteer Opportunities, Which Assist Teens/Youth/Children to Plan Their Own Events, Preparing Students to Create Discussion Among Their Peers, Building Their Audience, in Turn Foreshadowing Self-Esteem, Self-Worth and Team Building. In Addition, this Goal Focuses on Rewarding Those Who Make Positive Choices Through Community Recognition.
Time Frame: Short term and ongoing.
